My family and I have been going through some tough financial issues for a while now. This started around high school, as most of these problems stemmed from the pandemic. As a student, my dream of becoming a physician had been going on strong for years, and since college was getting closer and closer, I desired to pursue my desire in the Tecnológico de Monterrey, the institution I’ve been in before university itself. But my college tuition just made these issues grow biggen, and it seemed like everything was closing in on me; I felt hopeless. However, this foundation gave me every bit of my spirit back. The people in charge are truly concerned about academic achievements just as much as for your wellbeing as a great student. Concepción Bueno Zirión Foundation’s aim for helping ambitious and dedicated students in order to be able to thrive within their academic field is beautiful and passionate. I’m currently in my third year of undergrad and I’ve never felt as supported as I do thanks to their help. It gave me back the joy I missed, and now, I’m witnessing the best I have to offer as a future clinician.
